Job summary

Shrewsberry & Associates LLC is seeking a Project Manager - Aviation Engineering to oversee intermediate-level airport design projects, building strong relationships with airport authorities, state agencies, counties and municipalities.

You will ensure technical excellence, manage schedules and budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development using FAA criteria and CAD tools such as Civil 3D and AviPlan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 6+ years of experience in airside and landside airport design.
• Familiarity with FAA criteria, project management, and client relations.
• Proposal writing, scope development, and budget preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: market services in assigned geographic areas and assist in client relations.
• Management: deliver aviation projects on time and within budget; mentor junior engineers; coordinate project teams; manage invoicing.
• Technical: lead tasks, define scope/budgets, perform CAD design, use FAA/local standards for drainage design and reports, review QC, monitor site progress.
• Communication: meet with clients, attend project meetings, and maintain regular updates.
