Job summary

Shrewsberry is seeking a Project Manager – Aviation Engineering to oversee intermediate-level airport design projects. You will build relationships with airport authorities, state agencies, counties, municipalities, and other consulting firms, and work toward PE licensure in multiple states.

You will manage budgets and schedules, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality control across all project phases, including CAD work using Civil 3D and AviPlan, along with client relations and proposal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 6+ years of experience in airside and landside airport design.
• Familiarity with FAA criteria, project management, and client relations.
• Proposal writing, scope development, and budget preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver aviation projects on time and within budget.
• Mentor and assist junior engineers in preparing final design plans.
• Coordinate and review project team efforts and invoicing.
• Perform CAD design and drafting; model and analyze with Civil 3D and AviPlan.
• Prepare construction documents, reports, and final bid packages.
• Lead technical decisions on cost, schedule, and approach.
