Job summary

Shrewsberry seeks a Senior Project Manager - Aviation Engineering to lead airport design projects in the Denver region and build relationships with airport authorities, state agencies, counties and municipalities. Knowledge of FAA criteria and the ability to obtain PE licensure in multiple states are required.

You will oversee technical excellence, on-time and within-budget delivery, and contribute to business development and strategic planning for the aviation practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering required.
• 10 years of experience with significant airside design.
• Demonstrated experience in FAA criteria and regulations, project management, client management, and staff development.
• Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, fee proposal, and budgets for projected work.

Responsibilities

• Develop business and market Shrewsberry services in assigned geographic areas
• Identify and market additional business opportunities with key clients
• Participate in client relations management for assigned key clients
• Participate in proposal presentations and business development activities
• Utilize CRM for tracking all business development opportunities
• Meet with new/existing clients to discover project information
• Work with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work
• Manage and be accountable for the overall financial performance and day-to-day operations for assigned engineering projects
• Implement growth and sales plans and develop strategic plans for assigned clients/region
• Manage and deliver aviation projects on-time, within budget and to client satisfaction
• Mentor engineers and coordinate staff to maximize value for the client
• Utilize project management software for invoicing and reporting
