Job summary

Gresham Smith is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for the Aviation market in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This hybrid role involves in-field oversight, leading change management and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with accountability for both Contractor and Design Team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in construction management or related field and 15+ years in complex projects (airport experience preferred). OSHA/client training may be required post-hire.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in complex construction projects (Airport construction preferred).
• Licenses/registrations/certifications encouraged; post-hire training may be required by OSHA or clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress in the field and identify issues before they affect budget or schedule.
• Lead change management including evaluation of contractor change proposals and changes orders.
• Review contractor payment applications and ensure scope, budget and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders and oversee safety, security, and quality plans.
• Support corrective action plans and provide project controls and reporting oversight.
