Job summary

Safran Seats USA is seeking a Project Engineer to lead moderate to complex aerospace projects, ensuring cost budgets, schedules, and weight targets are met. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Certification, Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to deliver high-quality seating solutions for airlines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of engineering experience, including project management.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Engineering in Material Science, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or 12 years of related experience.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in project management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects, develop and maintain project plans, risk and issue logs, and status reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering schedules aligned with airframe and customer requirements.
• Ensure the engineering budget is maintained.
• Coordinate with functional leaders to secure resources for projects.
• Collaborate with other project engineers to drive program success.
• Monitor project performance, resolve issues, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
