Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Business Unit Manager for the Military Flight Controls Division in Dublin, GA. You will lead a high‑volume manufacturing BU, drive strategic marketing, pricing, and procurement initiatives, and guide senior teams to meet profitability and growth targets.

You will collaborate with customers, regulatory bodies, and leadership to implement Lean practices and ensure world‑class operations. A technical or business degree and 5–10 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
• 5–10 years of related experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of management and marketing principles, industry practices, product knowledge, technology, and service capabilities.
• Knowledge of business and operational processes; proposal development, contract negotiations, and program management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others with long tenure of leadership/PM roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present to top management, customers, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business unit of a division and manage P&L performance.
• Develop world‑class manufacturing operations using automation, processes, and a skilled team.
• Maintain close contact with customers to understand needs and market requirements.
• Provide leadership for Value Stream Manager, Marketing Manager, and Business Development Manager.
• Oversee launches and management of new products/services and strategic pricing initiatives.
• Drive Lean Initiatives and strategic procurement to meet budget and profitability goals.
