Job summary

Chromalloy in San Diego, CA is seeking a Production Planning Clerk to coordinate schedules, track work orders, and support on-time delivery. You’ll work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Purchasing, release and expedite orders, and maintain ERP/MRP data.

1st shift, Mon-Fri 5:30a-2:00p. You’ll need 2–3 years in production planning, strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills, and the ability to communicate across departments to keep manufacturing moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication skills across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and priorities.
• Monitor work orders and prioritize workflow to support turnaround and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations to align production needs with capacity, labor, and materials.
• Release, expedite, and track work orders throughout manufacturing.
