Job summary

Chromalloy Corp. is seeking a Production Planning Clerk to keep turbine engine component repair operations moving efficiently. You will coordinate production schedules, track work orders, monitor priorities, and collaborate across teams to support customer delivery commitments.

Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 5:30a-2:00p. Experience in manufacturing, ERP/MRP, and Excel is valued for accurate planning and timely communication.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and priorities.
• Monitor work orders and prioritize workflow to support turnaround time and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations to align production needs with capacity, labor, and materials.
• Identify constraints or schedule risks and communicate to teams.
• Release, expedite, and track work orders through manufacturing.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Purchasing to monitor material availability.
• Review production data, backlog, and capacity for scheduling decisions.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate schedule changes.
• Prepare planning reports, KPI metrics, and backlog analyses.
• Support continuous improvement in scheduling, inventory, throughput, and efficiency.
• Follow safety, quality, and AS9100 requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Follow applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including AS9100 standards.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service.
