Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support production planning, scheduling, and inventory management. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow, ensure material availability, and drive on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities include maintaining schedules, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with procurement. The role emphasizes data analysis using ERP and BI tools to improve efficiency and maintain compliance with safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or a related environment.
• Experience in aerospace, energy, or similar industries involved in the manufacture and/or repair of highly engineered products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production priorities.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate changing demand, resource availability, and constraints.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Communicate production status and schedule changes to stakeholders.
• Analyze production capacity and resource utilization for efficient operations and on-time delivery.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions with operations teams.
