Job summary

Honda is seeking a Production Associate in Burlington, NC to support manufacturing operations. You will execute pre-planned tasks to ensure parts meet quality and delivery requirements, using manual tools and machines with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

You will work under documented procedures, perform deburr, handle airflow and heat-treatment steps, assist assembly, and operate cutting and pressing equipment while maintaining equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and take on new challenges.

Job Purpose

Production Associate is responsible for executing pre-planned manufacturing operations to produce products that meet quality and delivery requirements to support business targets.

Key Accountabilities

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Minimum Educational QualificationsHS diploma or GED
  • Minimum Experience2-3 years of hands-on fabrication experience

Working Conditions

Climate-controlled production environment.Regular exposure to the manufacturing areas which under certain circumstances require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, mandatory hearing protection and safety shoes.Ability to frequently stand, walk, and sit as well as regular use of hands, fingers, and arms.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
