Job summary

Surf Air Mobility is seeking a Buyer/Analyst to source parts, tooling, and services for fleet maintenance, manage procurement through delivery, and ensure on-time material availability. Collaborate with Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance to optimize sourcing and reduce costs.

The role emphasizes supplier negotiation, contract review, and inventory control to support 24/7 operations and regulatory compliance in aviation supply chains.

Qualifications

Strong purchasing, procurement, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of aviation MRO purchasing, supply chain processes, and warranties is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Source aircraft parts, tooling, MRO services, repairs, and materials with cost savings in mind.
Create, issue, coordinate, and manage purchase and repair orders with vendors.
Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and stock coverage to support maintenance.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and scopes of work with suppliers and contractors.
Review supplier contracts, warranties, and performance; coordinate with Finance on discrepancies.
Support RFPs, bids, and supplier selections; maintain Approved Supplier List.
