Job summary

Surf Air Mobility is seeking a Buyer/Analyst in the procurement department to source aircraft parts, tools, and services, manage supplier contracts, and ensure timely material availability for fleet maintenance. You will collaborate with Maintenance Planning, Finance, and vendors to optimize cost and quality while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience in purchasing, inventory management, and strong negotiation skills to support a 24/7 operation and a fast-growing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain analysis, or related field.
Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

Provide timely material support to maintenance stations and operations.
Create, issue, and manage purchase and repair orders with vendors.
Coordinate with Maintenance Planning for pre-purchased materials.
Review requisitions, inventory levels, and reorder points.
Source aircraft parts, tooling, and MRO services; identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist with supplier bids, contracts, and agreements.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and scopes of work with suppliers.
Manage warranty claims and coordinate resolutions with vendors.
