Job summary

SingleLiving is seeking a senior procurement leader in Anchorage with extensive airline and aviation supply chain experience. You will develop strategies, supervise sourcing and purchasing of parts and services, negotiate supplier contracts, and drive cost savings while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and deep analytical skills to optimize procurement across maintenance, operations, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, preferably in the airline or aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of airline operations, aircraft maintenance, and aviation supply chains.
• Proven experience in contract negotiations, vendor management, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and procurement software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies to optimize cost savings, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Overseeing sourcing and purchasing of aircraft parts, maintenance services, and other airline operational needs.
• Identifying and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure completive pricing and service reliability.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers.
• Managing procurement budgets and tracking expenditures to align with corporate financial goals.
• Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for savings.
• Ensuring all procurement activities comply with airline industry regulations and aligning with industry best practices.
• Assessing risks associated with supply chain disruptions and developing mitigation strategies.
• Analyzing supplier performance and ontime delivery rates to ensure process efficiency and operational impact.
• Working closely with internal departments, including maintenance, operations, and finance to align procurement strategies with company goals.
• Leading and mentoring procurement team, providing guidance on best practices and process efficiency.
• Staying updated on industry trends and market conditions affecting airline procurement.
