Job summary

Alaska Airlines, Seattle-based, seeks a Senior Supply Chain Manager (Engine & Asset) to lead engine, APU, nacelle, and LRU asset contracting and management across Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Horizon Air. You will shape contracts, drive cost-efficient strategies, and advise senior leaders on enterprise-wide decisions.

You will design innovative asset-management approaches, partner with maintenance and FP&A, and mentor teams to strengthen supplier relationships and enterprise

Qualifications

• 10 years of aircraft maintenance contract management experience or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Experience leading cross-divisional teams on complex sourcing, contracting, and asset management.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier performance in safety- and compliance-sensitive environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel for modeling, cost analysis, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication for executive-level summaries of contract, financial, and operational information.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities and develops enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for engines, APUs, nacelles, LRUs.
• Defines asset management strategies to reduce costs and create supplier synergies.
• Leads contracting, amendments, and cost models for best-in-market decisions.
• Collaborates with Maintenance, FP&A, Legal, Network Planning, Fleet, and Accounting on engine/asset matters.
• Influences senior leaders on contracting, total cost of ownership, and supplier consolidation.
• Maintains industry expertise on engine, APU, nacelle, and LRU contracts and leases.
• Reports progress and recommendations to senior leadership with structured briefings.
• Mentors cross-functional partners to build enterprise capability in engine asset management.
