Job summary

Allegiant Air in Las Vegas is seeking a Predictive Analytics Developer to lead automation and reporting within the Predictive Analytics platform. The role requires cross‑functional work with data science, aircraft engineering, and platform teams to enable proactive maintenance and fleet reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in statistics, Python, and SQL, with at least 1 year of related experience and the ability to work in a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 1 year experience in related field.
• Authorized to work in the US and must pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of statistical tools and concepts (R, SPSS, SAP) and statistical analysis/modeling.
• Experience with Python and proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with OEMs for automated reliability data reporting.
• Analyze pilot reports, delays, cancellations, and component performance data.
• Develop electronic forms within Aircraft Health Monitoring systems to consolidate data.
• Apply data mining to aircraft data to identify trends and failure patterns.
• Develop tools in Skywise to transform datasets for maintenance use.
