Job summary

Airbus North America Information Management (IM) is seeking a Lead Data & Analytics / AI Developer to join our AI and Advanced Analytics team. You will lead data engineering and Palantir Skywise integration to optimize operational decision-making, assembly line efficiency, and productivity across North American business units.

Based in Mobile, AL or other listed locations, you will report to the Head of AI and Advanced Analytics and collaborate with shop-floor managers, digital specialists, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in data engineering, advanced analytics, or business intelligence (or 7+ years with a Master's degree).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading digital initiatives and pipeline delivery within aerospace, manufacturing, transportation, or complex operational environments.
• Proven track record acting as a lead technical developer/SME, mentoring junior developers, and establishing code governance in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering and Skywise pipeline development to enable operational insights.
• Oversee platform administration for analytics tools and ensure governance.
• Partner with site leaders to translate operations into data requirements.
• Build and deploy AI/ML solutions integrated into production workflows.
• Mentor junior developers and establish coding governance in agile teams.
