Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services Corp. in Marana, AZ seeks a Director of Planning to oversee Planning, Production Control and Operational Capacity, reporting to the COO.

You will lead long- and short-range schedules, ensure timely, cost-effective work packages, and drive performance. The role focuses on capacity planning, KPI tracking, cross-functional collaboration, and Lean initiatives, with accountability for financial results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing planning teams.
• Experience in developing and managing integrated schedules, production plans, resource requirements and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, production control, and capacity management.
• Translate customer and work-scope requirements into executable production plans.
• Monitor KPIs, schedule adherence, and aircraft turnaround targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Quality, Maintenance, and Sales.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and resource plans; drive Lean initiatives.
