Job summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions seeks a Planning Manager to lead maintenance planning at Ascent Aviation Services in Marana, AZ. The role focuses on scheduling aircraft maintenance, coordinating with maintenance and inspection teams, and ensuring work scopes meet regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance planning, strong leadership, and excellent English communication skills; a bachelor’s degree in aviation management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years maintenance planning required.
• Excellent communication (reading, writing, and understanding English).
• Leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule aircraft maintenance tasks in compliance with FAA regulations and company guidelines.
• Ensure airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and orders accompany work packages.
• Translate customer work scopes into clear work instructions for Production Control.
• Create critical path flow charts and maintain planning software estimates.
• Oversee staffing and resources for billable work and upcoming projects with HR and Sales.
• Produce reports and data for senior leadership to monitor progress and performance.
