AVMATS Jet Support is seeking a Purchaser to source and procure parts and services for maintenance operations at our Chesterfield, MO location. You will obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, and prepare purchase orders while coordinating with internal teams.

The role requires strong negotiation, financial analysis, and knowledge of FAA regulations, with day shifts and potential overtime to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• General purchasing experience with 2+ years in a purchasing role.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills.
• Ability to analyze proposals, compare quotations and perform financial analysis.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet tools and email.
• Ability to learn FAA regulations, company policies and technical data.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procuring parts, materials and services for maintenance operations.
• Obtain and compare quotations and evaluate supplier reliability.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with internal departments.
• Secure samples and arrange testing when necessary.
