Job summary

STV is seeking an Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition (ORAT) Project Manager to join our national Aviation team. The selected candidate must reside in the United States, with regular travel to aviation project sites across the country.

Location flexibility is offered, with projects based nationwide. As part of the Aviation team, you will provide expertise in logistics, planning, coordination, and scheduling of ORAT activities for our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or related field with 10+ years of aviation experience.
• Experience on ORAT or Operational Readiness teams for new facilities.
• Knowledge of systems and operations including testing, commissioning, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, ramp up and execution of Aviation, Transit and ORAT programs.
• Assist with Stakeholder Engagement and Operational Interface Plans.
• Assist with Familiarization, Induction and Training Plans development.
• Assist with ORAT schedule information gathering and turnover planning.
• Assist with Transition Plan implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including management and vendors.
• Present regular updates on ORAT activities.
• Review schedules, tests and turnover plans for detailed execution.
• Attend project meetings and manage workflow to ensure timely completion.
• Assist with project closeouts and transition to service.
