Job summary

Veracity Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Specialist with FAA in Washington, DC or at the WJHTC, Atlantic City NJ. This role supports NAS Security and Enterprise Operations to minimize cyber security incidents and ensure availability of ATC systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive IT experience, strong quantitative skills and experience with modeling, simulation and data-driven decision tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of relevant information technology experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related information technology field; or equivalent substitution options.
• 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s Degree or MBA may substitute for bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• PhD may substitute for bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts quantitative analysis using operations research tools and other quantitative techniques.
• Creates analysis procedures.
• Assists in defining machine learning and data mining strategies.
• Creates, deploys, maintains and refines decision management models.
• Specialist in modeling and simulation functions or operations for multiple sectors.
