Job summary

Veracity Engineering is seeking an INFOSEC Specialist/Cybersecurity (SSO) to support FAA NAS Security and Enterprise Operations. The role can be located in Washington, DC or at the WJHTC, Atlantic City NJ, focusing on minimizing cyber security incidents and maintaining continuous authorization for OPS and F&E systems within the NAS.

Responsibilities include system change management coordination, vulnerability remediation, privacy/compliance management, data call/audit response, and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related information technology field; 5 years may substitute.
• Master’s Degree or MBA may substitute for bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience.
• PhD in related field may substitute for bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ experience.
• Experience working with NAS systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain coordination procedures with ATO system Program Offices.
• Participate actively in system configuration management processes, including Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
• Conduct security impact assessments for system configuration changes and identify applicable enterprise security services.
• Integrate system changes into the security Authorization process and ensure continuity of authorization.
• Review system security authorization documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with NIST RMF and FAA cybersecurity requirements.
• Maintain current system security Authorization information in SMART and CSAM systems.
