Job summary

Veracity Engineering is seeking an INFOSEC Specialist/Cybersecurity Domain SME (DSME) for FAA in Washington, DC or Atlantic City NJ. The role focuses on system security authorization, risk management, and compliance across NAS domains, reporting to NASEO programs.

The ideal candidate has deep cyber frameworks knowledge, experience with NAS systems, and can coordinate security activities across program offices. U.S. work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related information technology field.
• 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s Degree or MBA may be substituted for bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience.
• PhD may be substituted for bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• System Change Management: coordinate, review, and integrate security requirements and authorization.
• Vulnerability Management: track POA&Ms and remediation progress.
• Privacy & Compliance: review PTAs and ensure NAS privacy controls.
• Data Call & Audit: gather, review, and report on data requests and audits.
• Documentation & Policy: assist NAS SOPs and policies development and maintenance.
• Manage NAS cybersecurity documentation and online repositories.
