MGM Resorts International is looking for an Aviation Operations Coordinator in Las Vegas to manage guest travel on company aircraft and coordinate with Maintenance and the Aviation Operations Supervisor. You will also schedule, arrange, and document travel for executives and crew, ensuring compliance with FAA rules.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience handling high-pressure decisions, with the flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aircraft assignments with Maintenance and Aviation Operations Supervisor.
• Process and execute aircraft requests from casino hosts and executive assistants.
• Schedule travel for customers and executives on company aircraft.
• If aircraft unavailable, arrange travel, hotel and ground transportation for crew and executives.
• Update scheduling software with passenger and crew details after flights.
• Arrange international flight permits (landing and overflight) as needed.
• Maintain crew currency and compliance with flight-time regulations.

THE JOB:

As an Aviation Operations Coordinator, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $28.50 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work closely with Maintenance to ensure the most appropriate aircraft is assigned
• Work with the Aviation Operations Supervisor to ensure that support provided by the Operations department is maintained
• Perform duties as Flight Operations Coordinator
• Receive, process and execute aircraft requests from casino hosts and executive assistants
• Schedule travel for customers and executives on company aircraft, or consider other lift options if company aircraft is not available and arrange travel, hotel and ground transportation for crew and company executives when needed
• Communicate passenger special requests and needs to flight crews
• Ensure scheduling software database is updated following a flight including passenger and crew names
• Ensure all required permits are arranged for international flights including landing and overflight permits
• Schedule, maintain, and update flight-crew to ensure compliance with company and FAA regulations regarding currency, flight and duty times

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in a job that requires accurate decision making under pressure required
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
