Job summary

Kalitta Air, Llc in Oscoda, MI is seeking an OJT Production Supervisor to lead and mentor staff within Maintenance Training. You will supervise OJT instruction, manage schedules, and assign tasks to apprentices while ensuring adherence to ACS requirements and FAA regulations.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and regulatory compliance, with responsibility for training logs, evaluations and progression documents. This is a regular full-time position reporting to the OJT Manager.

Qualifications

• Airframe and/or Powerplant certification required.
• Experience in aviation maintenance or related field.
• Solid understanding of ACS tasks and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, direct and evaluate the performance of assigned staff.
• Supervise and evaluate formal and OJT instruction given by OJT leads and trainers.
• Identify changes to enhance OJT quality and submit to the OJT Program Supervisor.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure schedules and task assignments align with requirements.
• Oversee safe, compliant OJT processes in line with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate communication between maintenance managers, supervisors and leads.
• Maintain training logs, skill assessments and progression documents.
• Address performance gaps and resource needs, escalating to the OJT Manager.
