Job summary

The Louisville Regional Airport Authority seeks a dedicated Noise Program Manager to lead the FAA Part 150 Noise Compatibility Program, develop Noise Exposure Maps, and steer noise mitigation initiatives across the Authority’s airports.

This role coordinates with community groups, prepares public information materials, tracks program performance, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws while directing staff and consultants to advance noise reduction and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in Public or Airport Administration, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in FAR Part 139 airport or program management.
• Certified Member (CM) from AAAE preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update all aspects of the Part 150 Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) including development and implementation of measures.
• Oversee development and execution of noise abatement objectives, initiatives, and related airspace design.
• Coordinate FAA review of NEMs and monitor compliance with Part 150 recommendations.
• Supervise Environmental Programs Specialist and manage budgets, schedules, and consultant contracts.
