Job summary

WENCOR is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to support technical operations within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment. You will provide cross-functional engineering support for MRO, new product development, reverse engineering, tooling development, and process improvement to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

You will develop repair data, tooling, and internal engineering processes while maintaining strict adherence to FAA regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience with FAA Part 145 repair station environments.
  • Strong understanding of airworthiness requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience developing repair data, tooling, and process documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate New Product Development activities.
  • Review opportunities for New Product Development and improvements.
  • Develop and revise engineering drawings, models, and documentation.
  • Support reverse engineering for alternate parts and DER repairs.
  • Maintain manufacturing and repair process documentation (FQCS).
  • Assist in tooling, fixture, and test equipment design and documentation.
  • Evaluate parts for fit, form, and function; provide support to Production and Inspection.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal departments on technical requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and project planning sessions.
