Job summary

Heico-6 is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to support technical operations in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment in Temecula, CA. The role provides cross-functional engineering support for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), new product development, reverse engineering, tooling development, and process improvement to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (equivalent experience considered).
  • 2–5 years aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO experience preferred.
  • Experience in FAA Part 145 repair station is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate New Product Development activities.
  • Review opportunities for New Product Development.
  • Develop and revise engineering drawings, models, and documentation.
  • Support reverse engineering for alternate parts and DER repairs.
  • Assist in tooling, fixture, and test equipment design and documentation.
  • Maintain engineering data configuration control and revision tracking.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal departments on technical requirements.
