Job summary

Heico-6 is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to support technical operations in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment in Temecula, CA. The role provides cross-functional engineering support for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), new product development, reverse engineering, tooling development, and process improvement to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (equivalent experience considered).
2–5 years aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO experience preferred.
Experience in FAA Part 145 repair station is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate New Product Development activities.
Review opportunities for New Product Development.
Develop and revise engineering drawings, models, and documentation.
Support reverse engineering for alternate parts and DER repairs.
Assist in tooling, fixture, and test equipment design and documentation.
Maintain engineering data configuration control and revision tracking.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal departments on technical requirements.
