Qualifications

• Two years NDI experience as a Level II Inspector IAW NAS-410.
• Certified in Liquid Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing.
• NAS-410 or equivalent certification required.
• Ability to interpret NDT results and determine corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an NDI Level II inspector on repaired, overhauled, re-worked, manufactured and investigative aircraft components.
• All briefs, reports and evaluations must be routed through the Government NDI Program Manager for approval.
• Select appropriate NDI methods and inspect areas on aircraft frames and components.
• Evaluate indications and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform follow-up inspections to verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Comply with NDI directives and instructions and coordinate with engineering as needed.
• Maintain NDI work history records and document findings.
• Assist with proposal development if necessary.
