FedEx Express seeks a skilled aircraft maintenance technician to provide safe, efficient maintenance including repair, engine run, taxi, and troubleshooting across MX locations. You will execute planned and unplanned tasks, communicate exceptions promptly, and produce accurate AML write-ups in a timely manner.
Requires a High School Diploma/GED, an active A&P license, and a valid driver’s license, with at least 36 months of turbine-powered aircraft experience above 12,500 lbs MEW.
Provide safe and efficient maintenance, including repair, engine run, taxi, and troubleshooting of aircraft at various MX locations as assigned to minimize delays, cancellations, and OOS impacts. Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate Manuals. Communicate exceptions as they occur and create accurate and complete write-ups with all inputs in a timely manner. Additionally, when there is no manager or lead onsite, accept the daily work release plan. Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED. Current A&P Licenses are required. Valid non-restricted driver's license from the state of residence.
Thirty-six (36) months of aircraft maintenance experience on turbine-powered aircraft that exceed 12,500 lbs. MEW. Previous experience does not include A&P school and training.
FAA covered safety-sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine, and opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. A valid non-restricted driver license from the state of residence is required.
