Job summary

ALOFT AeroArchitects in Georgetown, DE is seeking a MRO/MOD Program Manager to lead aircraft maintenance, modification, and completion programs. You will manage schedules, budgets, and customer interfaces while ensuring contractual compliance and delivering quality results.

The role requires 8–10 years in aerospace program management, EV M (EVM) proficiency, and strong leadership. Expect interactions with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related technical experience.
• 8 to 10 years industry-related aerospace maintenance and/or planning, modification, and/or on-aircraft engineering and / or certification experience.
• Aircraft maintenance and/or aircraft modification STC projects for transport category aircraft strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM) with demonstrated experience in applying EVM principles to track program performance, manage budgets, and forecast program outcomes.
• Previous experience in an FAA Repair Station (Part 145) or Interiors Completion Center environment is preferred.
• Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project tracking software and other company and discipline specific software applications.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan work.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours and/or travel, as dictated by program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coach and train other PMO team members.
• Assist in standardizing Program Management processes; develop practices, policies and templates.
• Act as Contract and Sales interface for duration of program.
• Coordinate technical inquiries to all levels of program stakeholders and Customers.
• Chair program kick-off, daily, and weekly program status meetings, as required.
• Provide weekly status reports to customer(s) and PMR to Senior Management which include RISK skyline and controls, schedule compliance, labor, materials and ODC budget, ETCs and EACs.
• Coordinate with Repair Station (Part 145) to ensure regulations are adhered to for a valid CRS deliverable to the customer.
• Coordinate with ODA and Certification staff to ensure FAA and foreign regulatory requirements are met and communicated to the customer in support of the FAA STC scope.
