Job summary

FTAI Aviation Ltd. in Miami seeks a liaison coordinator to bridge the production floor, supply chain, and engineers, ensuring technicians have parts, tools, and documentation to complete assemblies on schedule. This role aims to minimize shop downtime and maximize turnaround time.

You will review schedules, provide rapid solutions for urgent requests, and source alternatives when standard parts are unavailable, while maintaining FAA SB/AD compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with aviation maintenance processes.
• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass pre-employment drug testing per FAA/DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedules and move parts between work order kitting locations to maintain efficient workflow.
• Provide rapid response to urgent parts requests and source alternative parts when needed.
• Ensure technicians receive the correct parts and consumables for shop floor operations.
• Assist in managing MRO parts rooms, including receiving, kitting, and delivering materials.
• Coordinate with Production Control, engineering, and asset management on upcoming modules and kitting/marshalling.
• Identify shortages, expedite parts, and ensure timely arrival before maintenance begins.
• Ensure work packages, task cards, and repair documents meet FAA standards and SB/AD requirements.
