Job summary

JetBlue seeks a MOC Planner to schedule maintenance events within FAA and JetBlue programs, coordinating with SOC and other teams to balance operations and maintenance needs. The role involves managing deferrals, tracking MELs and deferrals, and ensuring timely aircraft repositioning.

You will collaborate with AOG/MOC and leadership to minimize disruption and maintain regulatory compliance, including during irregular operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of aviation experience in Aircraft Maintenance or TechOps.
• SIDA badge required or ability to obtain.
• US work authorization (no visa sponsorship)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance within calendar, flight-hour and flight-cycle limits.
• Coordinate with SOC to manage TOPS and routing changes for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure proper scheduling after any swap or reroute event.
• Respond to deferred/busted tasks and reschedule maintenance for regulatory compliance.
• Track MELs, LTDs, CDL, and GMM; collaborate with AOG/MOC for execution.
• Provide turnover reports to the incoming planner and MOC Duty Manager.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners and assist during Irregular Operations.
