Job summary

JetBlue in New York is seeking an Analyst Schedule Planning to join the Schedule Planning Team. You will analyze and build out the airline's schedules, collaborating across departments to ensure plans align with operating metrics.

Responsibilities include maintaining cadence, generating proposals, coordinating with Route Planning, creating ad-hoc scenarios, and producing reports. This role requires 2+ years of analytical work, strong communication, and travel availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years relevant work experience.
• 2 years analytical experience.
• Ability to manage numerous schedules and resolve scheduling issues under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel overnight (10%).
• Authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship not available.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain JetBlue's cadenced schedule process.
• Generate schedule proposals to Operating departments to align with constraints, cost targets, fleet plan, staffing and metrics.
• Collaborate with Route Planning to adjust schedules for demand and P&L performance in new/existing markets.
• Coordinate cross-functional scheduling with other departments to embrace JetBlue's vision.
• Create ad-hoc schedule scenarios to support Commercial and Operational projects and analysis.
• Explain schedules to operating departments and implement actions.
• Support other teams with ad-hoc planning requests and regular reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
