Job summary

Repairtech International in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer with aviation MRO experience to design repairs of mechanical aircraft parts in our in-house machine shop. You will interact with clients and the FAA during the design phase and help develop shop routings and tooling.

The ideal candidate is a graduate engineer with 2–5 years of experience, proficient in AutoCAD 2D, GD&T, and capable of performing stress analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) required.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for aviation/mro.
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to perform stress analysis.
• Experience with in-house manufacturing facilities and machine tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design repairs of mechanical aircraft parts.
• Interact with clients and the FAA during design phase.
• Develop shop routings/travelers after repair design.
• Follow the part through the repair process.
• Design shop tooling.
