Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Egress Specialist to perform system repair and maintenance on cockpit egress components, inspect, repair, test and troubleshoot egress systems, and rig canopies and locking mechanisms. The role may involve operating ground support equipment and logging data in maintenance records.

You will work under the Egress Shop Leadman, maintain ejection seats, canopies, hatches, and related subsystems, ensure safety standards, and perform replacements of time-change

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with REAL ID within 30 days.
• U.S. citizenship required to maintain base access.
• Experience removing, inspecting, installing, repairing egress systems.
• Experience supervising maintenance of egress subsystems.
• Completion of Air Force Aircrew Egress Systems Apprentice Course or equivalent.
• Able to meet physical requirements per Appendix E of the CBA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain egress systems with seats, canopies, hatches and related components.
• Inspect, repair, modify and replace time-change components as needed.
• Rig and replace seats and canopies; ensure safety and compliance.
• Operate ground support equipment and log data in maintenance records.
