Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking a Material Services Expediter to generate and review parts reports for back ordered and past due purchase orders, expedite materials, and advise teammates on status. The role also assists purchasing by placing orders, checking receipts, and sourcing pricing and delivery information.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory databases, coordinating with vendors, and supporting solving discrepancies while complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• One year related materials, purchasing, warehouse or shipping and receiving experience required.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Previous aviation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily reports to identify parts from back order requisitions and past-due POs and notifies team members.
• Obtains pricing and availability by contacting vendors to support quotes and resolve discrepancies.
• Assists purchasing by soliciting sources for immediate-demand items and placing orders.
• Updates inventory database to ensure accurate records and cross reference information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
