Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking an Expeditor to support production by sourcing materials, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics for timely builds.

In Gate 2 Kitting/Accumulation you will identify components, meet production schedules, and expedite parts to ensure customer commitments are met. You will work under supervision and collaborate with procurement and shop teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong planning, organization, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent).
• Mechanical dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the workday.
• Working knowledge of inventory controls and warehousing procedures is an asset.
• Thorough knowledge of WHMIS and hazardous goods handling.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review data to assure proper disposition of materials and parts, including miss-allocated parts and rerouting as needed.
• Respond quickly to shop needs with inquiries to material issues to support production.
• Procure and expedite aircraft materials via repair, subcontract, or supplied to maintain production and customer needs.
• Accumulate and account for components on a daily basis to engine racks within Gate 2.
• Prepare engine racks for build by inventorying racks and resolving issues before release to build.
• Work with Customer Service and Operations to mitigate shortages by exploring swap options.
• Monitor the production schedule to ensure engine racks are prepared in advance for build release.
• Run daily reports to provide visibility of outstanding material issues affecting production.
• Use electronic databases to retrieve information on aircraft parts inventory and serial numbers.
