Job summary

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is seeking an Aviation Marketing and Development Manager to lead route development strategies, oversee data analysis and airline forecasting, and evaluate new market opportunities. You will manage airline relationships and monitor competitive threats to grow incumbent air service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of professional-level experience in airline route development, aviation analysis, aviation marketing, or tourism marketing.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
• Education Substitution: Qualifying experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis for up to two (2) years.

Responsibilities

• Lead route development strategies and airline forecasting.
• Manage relationships with incumbent airlines through regular meetings.
• Supervise and mentor staff and consultants supporting departmental operations.
• Coordinate market intelligence at industry conferences and events.
• Oversee annual budget preparation and implementation for the AMAD unit.
