The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is hiring an Aviation Marketing and Development Manager. In this role, you’ll lead route development strategies, oversee technical data analysis and airline forecasting, and evaluate new market opportunities. You’ll manage airline relationships through regular meetings, identify competitive threats, and recommend programs to retain and grow incumbent air service.
You’ll also supervise and mentor a research analyst, coordinate market intelligence at industry conferences, and support international marketing campaigns. Additional responsibilities include monitoring expenditures, contributing to monthly financial reporting, providing early insights on potential cost issues to leadership, and helping refine operational procedures within the Aviation Marketing & Development unit.

1. Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
AND
2. Experience: Four (4) years of professional-level experience in airline route development, aviation analysis, aviation marketing, or tourism marketing.
AND
3. License and Certification: Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
Education Substitution: Qualifying experience as described above may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis for up to two (2) years. (One year of work experience is equal to 30 semester or 45 quarter units).
