As a result, a full-time position is available within our Aviation group for a highly motivated individual to lead and manage our marketing team. This exciting opportunity is available at any of our Mead & Hunt office locations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring and managing marketing staff
  • Working in partnership with Market Leaders on annual marketing plans and budgets
  • Coordinate with other group Marketing Managers to share best practices and lessons learned
  • Collaborating with the corporate graphics and communications team to accomplish Aviation group marketing goals
  • Coordinate, evaluate, and recommend department staff training
  • Coordinate with the group leader to develop and monitor annual business plan for the aviation marketing department, which includes budget management, win rate targets, and team growth
  • Overseeing proposal development, interviews for competitive pursuits, and providing quality control of proposals
  • Support corporate initiatives to further develop best practices
  • Prioritizing needs to ensure appropriate resources are available
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Aviation group leader.

Occasional travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have all the following:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, journalism, communications, marketing, English, or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the consulting industry.

The ideal candidate will have any/all the following:

  • Background in proposal management within the A/E/C industry with experience in aviation is preferred
  • Aptitude and willingness to embrace the use of technology to advance the preparation of SOQs/Proposals (GIS, storyboards, AI, etc.)
  • Continuous learner
  • Ability to manage the document storage of our marketing materials
  • Provide insights and support into our social media plan
  • Manage our national conferences/tradeshow administration
  • Ability to convey information clearly, both verbally and in writing specifically with the business development team as the marketing teams’ roles evolve
  • Ability to enable empathy, teamwork and conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage, provide guidance on workload management, and mentor marketing staff to support long-term growth and build the team tobecome content creators driving the proposal process
  • Proficient in Adobe such as InDesign
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and available to the needs of the business development and marketing team members and provided additional support where needed.
  • Ability to help build relationships and bridge the gap between business development and marketing coordinator responsibilities.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $115,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
