Job summary

You will develop and maintain routers, rework instructions, and repair plans for precision manufacturing.

The role emphasizes lean initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma) to reduce cycle times, scrap, and defects on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with gas turbine engines or precision aerospace components.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint reading, and CAD/CAM proficiency.
• Experience with lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S).

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for turbine engine components, machining, and final assemblies.
• Author and maintain audit-ready manufacturing routers, rework instructions, and repair plans.
• Develop process improvements to optimize producibility, reduce cycle times, and scrap losses.
• Track manufacturing discrepancies and implement corrective countermeasures and work instructions.
• Implement lean manufacturing (TQM, Kaizen, Six Sigma) across turbine engine shop floor operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of GD&T, CAD/CAM software, and precision aerospace blueprint reading.
• Practical experience with lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S).
• Physical ability to work in clean-room and manufacturing shop environments.
