Job summary

CommuteAir in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Instructor to develop and conduct training aligned with the Maintenance Training Manual. You will create course outlines, design student literature, and deliver courses to employees and contract staff.

The role requires strong knowledge of aircraft and powerplant systems, aviation training experience, and the ability to manage records and endorsements. A&P license is preferred; US work authorization is required; organization and multi-tasking

Qualifications

  • Must have prior aviation classroom training experience.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft and powerplant systems.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training courses and materials.
  • Legally eligible to work in the USA.
  • A&P license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training courses to CommuteAir employees and contract staff.
  • Create and utilize course outlines as standard training objectives.
  • Design student literature, visuals, and other materials to aid learning.
  • Coordinate course schedules with department heads for initial and recurrent training.
  • Maintain training records and endorsements and supervise training activities.
