Harper College is seeking a faculty member to teach a standard load of 15 contact hours per semester with opportunities for release time for chair/coordinator duties. Courses may be offered in day, evening, flex, and online formats.

Full-time faculty are expected to hold weekly office hours on campus to support students. The position is a 9-month contract from August through May, with the option to teach additional classes during the summer term.

Schedule Information

This position teaches a standard load of 15 contact hours per semester (30 contact hours per academic year). This load may include release time to be given for program chair/coordinator duties. Classes may be offered in day, evening, flex learning and/or online modalities. Full-time faculty are also expected to hold weekly office hours on campus to be available for student support.

Weeks per fiscal year

Faculty are covered under a 9-month contract periodfrom August through May, with the option to teach additional classes during summer.
