Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the weekend shift to perform mechanical tasks, troubleshoot systems, and support maintenance on various aircraft including Embraer. This on-site role requires a strong adherence to FAA guidelines and safe work practices.

Qualifications

Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
0-2 years of aviation maintenance experience or related
AMT I/II/III/IV levels described with increasing responsibility
Must comply with FAA guidelines and safety rules

Responsibilities

Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
Removal and installation of panels and components.
Troubleshoot and problem-solve aircraft system issues.
Operate ground support equipment as needed.
Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components.
Assist with aircraft movement, engine work, and taxiing.
Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
Communicate effectively in English—written and spoken.
