Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician – 1122 for a full-time, on-site role in Chattanooga, TN. You will work on civilian aircraft systems, perform inspections, and support engine and panel work as part of a trusted MRO team.

You will be expected to troubleshoot, install, and maintain aircraft components, while adhering to FAA guidelines and safety rules. A strong English communicator with basic computer skills will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required (Airframe preferred).
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.
• Ability to read and follow FAA guidelines; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect aircraft and components.
• Support taxiing and performance runs.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling.
• Navigate training materials and maintenance databases.
