Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role covers maintenance, repair, and inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft, with a shift schedule of 3pm–1am and a 10–15% premium incentive.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, removing/installing components, and ensuring compliance with FAA guidelines. Strong teamwork and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove/install panels and components; troubleshoot aircraft system issues.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; perform maintenance on shop facilities.
