Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Chattanooga, TN. You will perform mechanical tasks, panel removal/installation, troubleshooting, inspections, and support aircraft movement and testing under FAA guidelines.

Candidates should hold an Airframe or Powerplant license (AMT I–IV levels; level depending on experience) and have 0–6+ years in aviation maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses required; levels AMT I–IV described in responsibilities.
• 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience depending on AMT level.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system issues.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Assist with aircraft movement and testing.

Education
