Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to service civilian aircraft, perform inspections, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The role involves engine work, panel removal/installation, and collaboration with the team to ensure safety and reliability. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Airframe license (Powerplant preferred), and 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Must follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft and engine removal/ installations.
• Maintaining and repairing shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate effectively in English and work under supervision as needed.
