Job summary

Chromalloy in Newnan, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls systems. You’ll help improve reliability and reduce downtime on CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and other production tools, supporting safe and efficient manufacturing.

This hands-on role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to read schematics and OEM manuals, and commitment to safety standards

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience or technical training.
• Experience with CNC machines or similar equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.
• Commitment to safety and Lockout/Tagout practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and other production tools.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, OEM manuals.
• Document maintenance work and ensure parts availability.
• Follow safety and quality standards; contribute to continuous improvement.
